Blake Griffin career high in assists. Blake Griffin all perfect all around game with 11 assists.
We all now Blake Griffin is a scoring dunk maestro and a rebound machine by default but what we don't usually see is he is also a very good passer averaging 3 assists a game. In a game against the Milwaukee bucks Blake Griffin had a perfect all around game of 23 points, 11 rebounds, 1 block, and 11 assists! in a 117 to 101 win over the Bucks.
‘Passing the ball matters to me,’ Griffin said. ‘Rebounding and scoring are kind of the staples and part of my game, but being able to pass and get guys open and create offense that way is important to me.’ Chris Paul said Griffin is capable of delivering these kinds of numbers on a regular basis. ‘He does such a great job of finding that next open guy,’ Paul said. ‘When we’re playing like that, guys don’t know whether to help or let him dunk it.’
If Blake can do enough numbers of assists as a usual routine in every game he might beat Chris Paul as the most valuable player on his team. Blake could easily be an MVP candidate each year if he dishes out at 6 or more assist per game. Blake's stat would be all-aroundnish like that of Lebron James.
